Rising Waters
About the Film
In early 2022, rising waters swept through Eastern Australia, causing widespread devastation and flooding tens of thousands of homes across Queensland and New South Wales. Kelli and Rob’s property was situated on the edge the Gympie and Noosa Shire regions. Kelli was alone on the night that their two-storey house was overtaken by flood waters, impacting both levels of the home. She was rescued by a neighbour, leaving all of her family’s belongings, history, and memories behind. But the worst was yet to come.
