In the shade of a rusty old Queenslander, the Gardener tends his bulbs and listens to the song of the place he calls home. But when the Real Estate Agent arrives to assess its value, his harmony with the house is disrupted. As their quiet connection grows, the house reveals itself, unveiling fragments of its past through four vivid scenes: the Daughter, the Writer, the Lovers, and the Laundry Girls.
Blending live music with moving storytelling, this play invites audiences past the gate, where history breathes, and where love - of people, of place, of memory - blooms like daffodils under the sun.
